Treatment of non union scaphoid fractures using pronator quadratus pedicle graft

Abstract
AIM: The aim of the study was to evaluate the outcomes in a series of scaphoid non-unions to determine if the pronator quadratus pedicle bone graft is effective in the treatment of these fractures. Objectives: The ideal treatment of scaphoid nonunions remains controversial. The purpose of the study was to evaluate the outcomes in a series of fracture scaphoid nonunions to determine if the pronator quadratus pedicle bone graft is effective in the treatment of these fractures. We report our experience with the operative treatment of five non-united scaphoid fractures with pronator quadratus pedicle bone graft and Herbert-screw.
